Kristallen fiets / trophy
On wednesday the 6th 'Het Laatste Nieuws', a Flemish journal rewarded their anual trophy for best cyclist of the year. As usual Tom Boonen won this again as current world road cycling champion, second was Sven Nys; winner of many cyclocross championships, 3rd was Philippe Gilbert; road cycling... and I became 4th... 5th was Nico Eeckhout; Belgian champion roadcycling , my team mate.
I was very surprised, even Tom Boonen said I deserve to win in the media. Nice words wherefor many thanks cheers
